Commanders! Here is a full report on the various tournaments that are run in This Means WAR! Consult this guide for information on the point scoring systems.


Total Domination Tournament

Highest total Medals determines the winner of the Total Domination Tournament each week.

Top Players: Highest score is used to determine the top ranking individual players.
Top Alliances: Each player contributes a percentage of their personal score to their Alliance score, based on their ranking within the Alliance.

Rank 1-10: 50%
Rank 11-20: 25%
Rank 21-30: 12%
Rank 31-40: 10%
Rank 41-50: 3%

Rewards (Top 25 Player per Alliance):

1st: 1000 Power Cells

2nd: 500 Power Cells

3rd: 300 Power Cells

4th - 10th: 200 Power Cells

11th - 25th: 150 Power Cells

26th - 50th: 100 Power Cells

51st - 100th: 50 Power Cells


Hexium Raid

Players earn Points by completing various objectives during a raid. Players are ranked based on the number of total Points they acquire. Multipliers affect Case Rewards and Crafting Rewards.

How to earn Points:

Level 1 Case: 1 * Multiplier
Level 2 Case: 50 * Multiplier
Level 3 Case: 300 * Multiplier

Build Hexium Troops: 100 * Multiplier
Deploy Hexium Troops: 100
Parts within Cases: Random * Multiplier

Total raid points earned on attack: ( Case Value * Adjusted Multiplier ) + (Value of Parts in Case * Adjusted Multiplier) + (100 * number of Hexium Troops Deployed)

Adjusted Multiplier: The Hexium Raid Perk adds a flat .1 to your multiplier per rank. 


Examples:

Perk level = 1, Multiplier = 1, Adjusted Multiplier = 1.1
Perk level = 1, Multiplier = 3, Adjusted Multiplier = 3.1
Perk level = 5, Multiplier = 2, Adjusted Multiplier = 2.5

Missile Strike Raid

  • I believe it is important to note that case contents (parts) are not multiplied by your win streak.  What you see at the end is what you get added to the case value times the win streak, so:

    Total raid points for attack = ( case value X Win Streak multiplier ) + parts amount + hex tank strikes

    Also know that you get 100 raid points for deploying a hex tank strike during Missile events, not just hex events...

    Great final details Phollins. I'll add them to the guide. 

    Great catch on earning Raid points for using Minotaurs during a Missile Strike Event. We may change this in a future update when more Hexium options are introduced to raiding. 
  • Let's hold off on more hexium options until hexium isn't a rarity in the in-game economy.
  • @R00Rshock can you confirm alliance raid points are computed the same as the total domination tournament?
  • @tropher, read from the beginning. They are completely different.

    Currently, raid event points are not being computed accurately.  There is a bug in the alliance raid bonus perks...

  • @Roorshock what I'd like to know is how random is part selection when you are getting rewards for raids?
    the reason I ask this is it seems often our alliance is very short at the end on one particular part. His means a lot of parts simply going to waste because we have excess of all bar one type and can not use our hard earned parts.

  • Let's get the medal win/loose  in order,the pecking systems is out of whack win 4/5 isn't right when u loose 30 this scoring system has to be fixed,or let us see how many metals the other player has and show the win/lose before an attack,as they do in clash of clans...thanks

  • How can a higher ranked player hit me and win 20+ medals? It's unfair that a player whom I have no chance to win against can get so many medals. It never offers me level 8 opponents for such a high reward.
  • They have to set standards like Clash of Clans level playing field...it's not that hard for these people to do 
  • If a higher ranked players hits you they will take less medals. I believe your getting hit by players that have been farming and are medaling back up. If a player is higher on medals than you then they won't take as many medals. As I've said I personally believe the medal system is fair. High ranks should be a challenge to achieve

    Because although they might be ranked higher than you, they have a lot less medals. If you drop your medal count you WILL get those lower levels offering 15-20 medals. 
  • We also give a lot of medals back when we drop to farm

    The way it's set up, the TEAM works together to get the alli higher on the leaderboard for better payouts.  But the individual payouts literally make you fight AGAINST your team to push your way into the top 25 players. Not sure what a better option would be but I really don't understand the current layout. I can leave a top 10 alli that I am 27th in. Go to a lower alli where I would be top 25 and reap this rewards. They are kind of ASKING us to leave our alli to go to a lower one, if you are out of the top 25.

    I think the alliance should get X for placing. Then divvy out the X powercells in accordance with the current raid. Easy math. The alliance placed 10th. That alliance gets 5000 powercells total. Then separate the 5000 powercells just like the medals for your alli score are. 1st-10th (in the raid) gets 50% of the cells. 11th-20th (in the raid) gets 25% of the cells. And so on and so on.
